I believe most knowledge about air ducts is familiar. However, there may be some areas that require special attention during maintenance. Good maintenance habits can improve air duct efficiency and extend their lifespan. The following will focus on several aspects.

Based on long-term experience, there are three main methods for air duct maintenance: vacuum loss, gas flushing, and power washing. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Vacuum loss: This method involves directly scrubbing dirt from the duct's inner wall with a brush. This requires a large manhole in the duct. The disadvantage of this method is that it doesn't completely remove dust and stains.

Gas flushing: A hose with a nozzle is connected to the duct to deliver compressed air, which removes dust from the duct.

Power washing: Dust and dirt are removed from the duct using an air-powered or electric brush. This method requires that the insulation surface is not damaged.
