Spiral duct machine bite deviation

Table of Content [Hide]

How does a spiral duct machine operate? As shown in Figure 1, circular ducts (excluding spiral ducts) with a diameter greater than or equal to 4 m² and a duct section greater than or equal to 4 m² in total surface area should be reinforced.

As shown in Figure 2, rectangular ducts with a larger edge than an insulated duct, a longer duct length, or a low-pressure duct with a single-sided area greater than 1.2 m², and a high-pressure duct with a single-sided area greater than 1.0 m² should be reinforced.

As shown in Figure 3, reinforcement for unconventional elliptical ducts should be similar to that of rectangular ducts.

The bolts, nuts, washers, and rivets used in spiral duct machines should be compatible with the characteristics of the duct.

For non-metallic duct reinforcement, in addition to complying with the provisions set forth in Section 1, the following applies: 1. For rigid polyethylene ducts with a larger diameter or sidewall, the duct and flange joints should be reinforced. The board should not be greater than 4 m²; 2. For organic and inorganic FRP ducts, the reinforcement should be of the same material or corrosion resistance as the duct material, as well as the overall duct structure.

Bends for rectangular ducts should typically be produced with internal and external curved bends, which have a curvature radius to the flat side. When used in other bending forms, elbow fittings must be provided when the flat side is greater than the flat side. Air ducts for cleanroom air conditioning systems must also meet the following requirements:

    1. When the rectangular duct length is less than or equal to 1/4" (1/2"), the base plate should not have a splicing seam; when it is greater than 1/4", a horizontal splicing seam should be present.

Auxiliary Equipment for Spiral Duct Machines

Since spiral duct machines can only produce straight ducts, a slender machine was developed. The double elbow machine achieves high production flexibility by operating simultaneously on two separate workstations: one for crimping and one for crimping. This allows for flexible use, with no time required for changeovers. Two operations are performed simultaneously. The resulting product is not only beautiful, but also sturdy, strong, and lightweight!
