How to Clean an Automatic Spiral Duct Machine

    1. Air Flushing: This saw-blade automatic duct machine delivers compressed air through a hose connected to the duct and is equipped with a nozzle.

If light leakage is observed on the surface of the duct machine, it indicates air leakage and requires repair.

To test a duct machine, use a light with a protective shield and a voltage no greater than 36V and a power greater than 100W. Slowly move the light from one end of the duct to the other, observing the duct for leaks.

    2. Vacuum Cleaner: This is operated with a handheld vacuum cleaner. For saw-blade automatic duct machines, a brush is used to directly contact the duct wall to remove dirt. This method requires the saw blade to cut the duct with a large manhole to allow the operator to collect as much dust and dirt as possible. However, this method may leak some dust and dirt because the duct does not have a complete negative pressure. Leaking areas such as duct undercuts, rivet holes, and flanged corners can be sealed with sealant or other sealing measures. If leaking occurs at flange connections, tighten the nuts or replace the flange gaskets as appropriate.

    3. Dynamic Cleaning: Use pneumatic or electric brushes to remove dirt, then clean with air in the same pattern and direction, drawing the dirt into the saw blade's automatic spiral vacuum cleaner. This method requires extreme caution to avoid damaging the insulation's appearance.
