Spiral duct machines are used to manufacture stainless steel air ducts. Also known as spiral seam thick-walled ducts, these were initially used in Western defense industry production, such as air supply systems for warships and fleets. They were later adopted by commercial equipment such as trains, subway stations, and mines.
According to a survey, the utilization rate of stainless steel ducts in office buildings, shopping malls, and subway stations reached 95.6%, while that of central air conditioning ducts in residential buildings reached 72.5%.
Spiral duct machines offer excellent compatibility and high standardization, strong sealing performance, minimal ventilation damage, and low ventilation noise, with round steel pipes being superior to square steel pipes. They also facilitate factory inspections, offer a balanced pressure (negative pressure) design, conserve materials, and are easy to install, requiring minimal connections, requiring minimal space, and resulting in low installation costs. Spiral duct fans are generally well-designed, aesthetically pleasing, and offer a high level of quality.
Spiral duct machines facilitate routine maintenance and cleaning. They have a small hydraulic radius, low friction along the line, and minimal kinetic energy loss. They are fully machined, forming the pipe in one go, eliminating the need for secondary processing. High-speed shearing machines ensure high pipe diameter accuracy. Four cutting methods are available: variable diameter jacks, waterproof sleeve interconnection, flange interconnection, and continuous interconnection. Spiral duct machines facilitate installation, and the insulation quality of the duct outer wall is superior to that of square duct.
Spiral duct machines require the use of appropriately sized molds for each stainless steel duct through which the pipe passes. Steel molds are commonly used, as they are stronger, more durable, and more stable than aluminum castings. Select a fully automated laser cutting system using a fast circular saw or lathe laser cutting.
